APX500: Finally Mine!

I have been interested in the APX line of Yamaha guitars since I first picked one up during my lunch hour at the local music store.  But at that time, they were out of my budget.  (See: Original Post).  Well the prices dropped.  So I finally found one, just like the one pictured here:

Not only am I glad I waited for the price drop, but our local Guitar Center had a special offer.  “Buy any Acoustic/Electric and get a free acoustic amp.”  So I got a Crate CA10 for “free” (originally $149.99) to go with it, and the two sound rather nice for the price I paid!  The APX500 has a very clean and clear sound whether acoustic or plugged in.  I let a friend play it who has high $$$ Martin guitars and he was impressed as well.  So I am very happy with it!
